Matthieu Michaut is a graphic designer and artist based in Brussels. He focuses on issues related to language, relationships between thoughts and reality, interplay of analogies (image-text-object) and instabilities of meaning. He was graduated with a Master's degree in Typography. Between 2017 and 2019, he collaborated with the artist run space Coherent. In 2019, he co-founded the duo Raphaël Matieu and took part in exhibitions: “It's not too late to seek a newer world, you know”, Shipment [uk], “Toujours”, Pal Project [fr], “À vue d'œil mieux vaut tendre l'oreille”, Duuu*radio [fr], “Sandbox”, SB34 [be]... and discussions: “Atelier de typographie”, ERG and La Cambre [be], “Visiting the studio: who is in?”, Beursschouwburg [be]...
